At Virtual Image and Animation, we had the privilege of collaborating on the FedEx ANCA Relocation project in Alaska, creating a 3D animation that captures the full steel erection process for this impressive 830-ton structure. This project stands as a great example of how animation can not only document complex construction processes but also serve as a powerful communication and marketing tool.
The Power of 3D Animation in Construction

Collaborating with Anatomic Iron Steel Detailing and ST Fabrication, our animation showcases the synergy between detailed planning, precise fabrication, and on-site execution.
The animation opens with an aerial view of the site, zooming in to focus on the construction area. From there, it follows the progression of the steel erection, providing viewers with a dynamic perspective of how the structure comes together. The final 360-degree views of the steel skeleton highlight the craftsmanship and coordination that went into the project.
